AAA Life Insurance offers paid parental bonding leave to full-time benefit-eligible associates with 6 months of service. The Paid Parental Bonding Leave program provides continuous leave of up to 6 weeks of job-protected parental leave at full regular pay for new parents to bond with a new child(ren) within 12 months of birth or placement of a child through surrogacy, adoption, or foster care.

What’s Included

• Paid Parental Bonding Leave is to be used after all available Short-Term disability coverage has been exhausted and concurrent with FMLA.
• Associates have an elimination period of 7-calendar days prior to be eligible to receiving the Paid Parental Bonding leave benefits.
• If an associate had a 7-calendar day elimination period for Short-Term disability it will be applied towards the Paid Parental Bonding leave.
• Paid Parental Bonding Leave is a fully funded leave by the Company and/or our third-party provider for up to 6 weeks (minus the elimination period) and is subject to normal payroll taxes and deductions including elected benefit premiums.
